Michael Jackson Items; go on Display in London~ October 26, 2009

The King of pop’s glove will go on Display in London later this week.

The exhibit opens Wednesday and includes one of the late singer’s Rolls-Royces, some of his signature gloves and sequined jackets and a contract from his early days with the Jackson 5.

The sold-out shows were canceled after Jackson’s sudden death in June.

The exhibition at London’s 02 Bubble arena includes more than 250 items from Jackson’s personal estate. It includes a crystal-studded hat and other items never before shown to the public.

Breast Cancer is on the rise in the United States according to the American Cancer Society 1 out of 68 women ages 40-50 will get breast cancer within the next ten years.

Additionally 1 out of 37 women ages 60-70 will get breast cancer within the next 10 years. The survival rate of breast cancer is on average 80% and early detection will improve your chances of treatment and survival.

Below are some signs to look for when doing a self breast exam:

Thickening in the breasts or armpit

Change in Size and shape of the breast

Change in the color of the nipple

Green or blood coming out of the nipple

dimpling skin around the nipple or areola

Skin changes- appearance of textured skin [orange peel feeling]

The best thing to do is check your breasts once a month and have a mammogram done every year. Let your physician know if you find any changes in your breasts. Remember we all have to work together on finding a cure, and improving the treatments for Breast Cancer.
